Awards Celebration – For our winners, mark your calendar for the 2023 Awards Celebration on Friday, September 22, at Bayview Yacht Club. Cocktails at 6:30 pm; Strolling Dinner 7 – 8:30 pm; Awards at 7:30 pm. Invitations will be sent out via email in mid-August.
Event Photos – Thank you to our photographer Martin Chumiecki of Photo Element Photography, for capturing our event Photos from the race, including the start and finish, are available on the race website under the media tab. Photos are continually being uploaded, so check back often! Martin is reviewing all the photos before uploading them to the website, so be patient. He took over 4,000 photos at the start alone!

100th Bayview Mackinac Race – July 20, 2024 – Pre-registration for the race closed on June 1st. Regular registration will open in October. Please look for more communications about registering for the 100th as we get closer to October. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the 2024 Mackinac Race Chair,

2023 Race Merchandise – Official 2023 race merchandise is available to order online until Friday, August 18th! Please order online at the below link.
Our official race merchandiser, High Winds Graphix, was co-founded in 2014 by BYC members, Rob and Laurie Bunn to fill a need for crew shirts in the sailing network. They sail the Bayview Mackinac Race on Wind Toy IV with their son and father, and their daughter sails but prefers to help with merchandise sales on the island. It’s a family-owned and operated business.
High Winds Graphix has rapidly expanded to create and supply innovative promotional products, wearables, vinyl graphics, signage, and online stores. They specialize in brand awareness and visibility while offering concierge-type services. They are proud of their roots in sailing, but now service business, education, association, yacht clubs, and athletic team clients locally in southeast Michigan and extended clients online.
