Skipper Registration 

Thursday, July 16th – 1200 to 1900 hours – Bayview Yacht Club, Detroit 
Friday, July 17th – 0900 to 1600 hours – Port Huron Yacht Club Parking Lot Tent located in the Northeast corner of the lot at 212 Quay St, Port Huron, MI 48060  

Competitor Action ItemsTo avoid delays during registration, please confirm the following items are complete on bycmack.com:  Complete Your Crew Waivers Any crew member who has not completed their required waiver will prevent your boat from completing onsite registration. If you have youth sailors aboard, please ensure the required youth waiver has been completed.  Complete Required Survey Please verify that the required survey associated with your registration has been completed.

ORC Certificate UpdateThe Offshore Office at US Sailing continues to process ORC certificates as quickly as possible. Once you receive your test certificate, please review it carefully and respond promptly with your approval and payment so your final certificate can be issued without delay.  Please do not contact the ORC Office directly unless necessary, as additional inquiries slow certificate processing for everyone. If you have questions specific to your Bayview Mackinac Race certificate, please contact our Technical Team at macktech@byc.com. Please note that the Organizing Authority will import ORC certificates directly from the official ORC database as they become available. Island Awards Party The Island Awards Party will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at Mission Point Resort. Gates open at 1115 hours. Please note that you MUST bring your ID with you to enter the party. No one will be admitted to the party without valid ID.Skippers receive 2x’s number of crew in wristbands upon Skipper Check-In at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island.Additional wristbands must be purchased through Mission Point Resort at this link. First-Time Bayview Mackinac Race Sailors New this year! We will be recognizing first-time Bayview Mackinac Race sailors this year with a photo at the start of the Awards Party on July 21st. Meet by the stage at 1130 hours to be included in the picture! Old Goats Picture The annual Old Goat picture will take place at 1130 hours at the stage. Please have your ID ready so you can enter the party when the gates open to make sure you’re included in this photo!

Class Assignments Once all ORC certificates have been received, divisions will be finalized and class assignments will be made. Starting times will follow shortly thereafter. Virtual Skipper’s PacketThe Virtual Skipper’s Packet on the Bayview Mackinac Race website continues to grow with important race information. Please check this section regularly, as new documents, updates, and competitor information has been added.Mackinac Island DockageDock assignments have been made. This information can be found in your boat record at bycmack.com. Skipper Check In Once on the island skipper check in will be located in the lobby of Mission Point Resort.
